New Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT

Looks like LetsGoDigital has exlusive preview of new Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT that is here to replace the biggest seller among digital SLRs - Canon EOS Digital Rebel. New Rebel XT touts 8 megapiksel CMOS sensor, 3 frames per second shooting speed, 14 frame burst operation, speedy USB 2.0 connection, simultaneous RAW and Large JPEG writing and 0.2 second start up time.

Canon EOS 350D

Target user: With plain language menus, intuitive controls and default settings chosen to reflect general every-day use, the Canon EOS 350D is designed to appeal to digital still compact users looking to expand their creativity, and film SLR users who have been waiting for 8.0 Megapixel performance at this price point. It will be available as body only and in kit form with the new EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II lens.

It will be called Canon EOS 350D in Europe. In US body only will cost $899, in Europe slightly more expensive (as always) at €899. I know that local stores have already ordered it but they could not tell when it was going to hit the stores here in Estonia.
